FREMONT MOO JOIN THE DIAMOND BASEBALL LEAGUE
The Diamond Baseball League (DBL) is excited to announce the addition of the Fremont Moo for the inaugural 2026 season. The Moo were founded in 2019 and in most recent seasons played as a member of the Independence League.
The Diamond Baseball League is a top tier collegiate summer baseball league that begins play this summer. The League will focus on providing an experience that mirrors the fun of a minor league baseball event for fans, sponsors, and players with an emphasis on promotions, events which benefit the community and affordable, family entertainment.
The DBL management team has over 100 years of combined professional sports experience, including ownership and operation of collegiate summer, independent professional and minor league baseball teams affiliated with Major League franchises.
The Moo will round out the six-team League which includes the Grand Island Fightin’ Cranes and Hastings Sodbusters in Nebraska, the Salina Sliders in Kansas, and the Jefferson City Renegades and Sedalia Steamers in Missouri. The League’s regular season runs from May 27th through August 1st, with the top two teams advancing to a best of three championship series.
